He soon began to write screenplays and together with Tomas Tivemark wrote the very successful tv series Bert in 1993. In 1994 Micke Hjorth, Tomas Tivemark and Johan Kindblom created the first truly successful Swedish sitcom, Svensson, Svensson, which ran for two years and won the prestigious Aftonbladets tv-pris (Swedish Emmy) for the most popular tv show and received the Golden Gate Award at the San Francisco film festival. In 2001, Micke Hjorth’s feature film debut, the horror film The unknown, won the Melies d´argent at Cinenygma Luxemburg International Film Festival. After the successes with Svensson, Svensson the three screenwriters formed the company Tre Vänner (Three Friends) that today is one of the largest independent production companies in Sweden. Micke Hjorth is also a board member at Paradox entertainment AB. Paradox Entertainment Inc. is based in Los Angeles and owns, develops and licenses mainly character-based properties. The company owns stories and characters created by pulp author Robert E. Howard, among others Conan. The parent company, Paradox Entertainment AB, is publicly traded on the OMX first North list. Micke Hjorth is also a board member in the Swedish game studio Starbreeze (publically traded) that recently was selected best Nordic developer. Starbreeze is currently in production with a big game title for Electronic arts. Micke will speak about how new formats affects the modern story.

Micke Hjorth, executive producer/ writer/ director, received a bachelors degree in film at Bard College, ny in 1989. After working in Los Angeles for a year, he returned to Sweden in 1991 and started working at the drama department of Swedish Television as a script editor.
Mathias Gullbrandson field of expertise is storytelling, experience design, and innovation processes. Mathias has an extensive experience working with major entertainment events.
Jakob Abrahamsson is head of distribution at NonStop Entertainment and has introduced great films such as This is England, Gomorra och The Wrestler to the Swedish film market.
Sture Johansson is Senior Vice President of SF Bio AB, where he is in charge of the programming department. Sture is ultimately responsible for the overall film offerings, the film negotiations, strategies and the long-term premiere planning at SF Bio AB.
Jonas Birgersson is a Swedish IT-entrepreneur, known for, among other things, being the creator of modern broadband, founder of multiple companies including Framtidsfabriken (Framfab) and Bredbandsbolaget.
Olof Hedling teaches Film Studies at Växjö University and at Lund University, in Sweden. Currently he is involved in a research project that concerns European regional film production. He also co-ordinates Lund University's Master's Program in Film and Media Production which is located in Ystad.
